BACKGROUND
|
Skye (registered name Medusa I) was bred and born in Germany. At her mare inspections in Germany, she received 45 bonits: 6676776. Skye competed as a jumper to approximately 1.3m in Europe before an unfortunate career-ending accident jumping a pasture fence. |

We sadly lost Skye to colic in 2010. She was a very regal mare with a large frame and endless power. Despite her injury, which left her with a fused pastern, she still galloped around the pasture with a huge stride and it was not hard to imagine her eating up a jumper course. Skye had a regal disposition and a commanding presence despite her very gentle nature. She was an excellent mother to her foals and a very loving mare. |
