We are very appreciative of Cuba's owners at JNL Stables for the opportunity to have leased this fabulous mare. Cuba was papered Hanoverian and approved for breeding with the AHHA. Cuba's dam has produced 4 other offspring in Europe, including the Hanoverian Verband approved stallion Laith (by Lord Z), another stallion by Lord Z sold in the Hanoverian Verband auction, and the gelding Leszek (by Landclassic) ranked #326 in the 2012 WBFSH Showjumping rankings. Cuba was imported from Germany as a sporthorse. She competed in the Bundeschampionat in Germany at the ages of 5 and 6. As a 7 year old she competed in the Youngster Tour in Germany, which is the Grand Prix level for young horses. Once she was imported to the US, she competed for many years in the jumper ring up to Level 7, spending most of her time in the Jr/AO ring with an amateur rider. Cuba was an older-style mare with a commanding presence and lots of power, combined with a sweet and friendly temperament who was a joy to have at the farm.

Cuba and Alejandro FCF

Key Accomplishments

- Cuba was approved in the AHHA Main Mare Book with bonits of 6-6-6-6-6-7-7 for a total of 44 bonits

Labyrinth FCF

Labyrinth FCF born May 2014, by Grand Prix jumper stallion LaMarque (Lansing/Lord Calando/Ahorn Z). Given the history of successful crosses in Cuba's damline with L-line stallions, we specifcally sought out an L-line stallion for this breeding. This boy should jump the moon! Labyrinth FCF is very correct and has a lot of presence, with a friendly, outgoing personality and eager-to-please attitude. Congrats to Christian Rogge on the purchase of Labyrinth FCF!

Alejandro FCF

Alejandro FCF born May 2013, by the talented jumper stallion Albarez (Alcatraz/Loutano/Fernando). "Alex" has an independent and brave personality, and he is very friendly and personable. He has a big, powerful canter stride and lots of "look at me" chrome. Congrats to Lori Larrabee on the in-utero purchase of Alejandro FCF!
